How Cute Is This? Rap Group of Women in their 80’s

Posted on by admin

As we age, sometimes we feel less capable of learning things we may want to. It’s easy to think “The brain doesn’t work the way it used to” or perhaps we think we don’t have the energy to do new things.

I think we are just as capable and maybe even more so as we age, hopefully, we have a little more time on our hands to do things we are passionate about. I think it’s important to challenge yourself to do new and interesting things all throughout or life. It’s like “crosstraining” for the brain.

Maybe it’s time to pick up a new hobby.

“The Associated Press” did a big feature on a group of South Korean women who learned to read and write in their 80s, and formed a rap group.  (???)  They’re called Suni and the Seven Princesses.  They’ve become huge celebrities over there.

It’s never too late and you’re never too old to change your life, try something new, and decide to have more fun.

We probably only get one shot at this earth, so we must be bold and brave and do all the things we want while we can!

Ask yourself this..”If not now, When?”

Challenging yourself is good for your brain.

I’ve been trying new things and having new adventures my whole life. It keeps me from feeling bored.

Doing things I find difficult, has given me more self-confidence. I’ve learned I can do hard things! Give yourself some grace and time to learn something new. You’ll be glad you did.
