RICHLAND, Wash. – Richland Fire Department crews responded to an outbuilding fire near the Hanford High School soccer field early Sept. 21.
According to a post from the Richland School District, fire crews were able to extinguish the fire, but the building and interior contents were destroyed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Early evidence suggests the cause was electrical, according to RSD.
The area surrounding the outbuilding is blocked off for community safety.
