FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash. – The Franklin Commissioners Office welcomed Jason Valentine to his new role as the Government Affairs Coordinator of the county on Wednesday, according to a press release.
In this role, Valentine will engage with local community groups, collaborate with lobbyists in Olympia and support Franklin County Administrator Mike Gonzalez on local matters.
“Jason is quite the asset to have with his wide reaching connections in Franklin County and through the region in general,” said Gonzalez. “He is trusted in the community, and he will help Franklin County and our administration office meet the goals we’ve set for 2024 and beyond.”
Valentine has worked in the Tri-Cities since 2005 and is a University of Washington graduate.
