A Basin City burglar is likely going to have to exchange a lot of coins.
Suspect breaks into Basin City market, steals coin rolls
Franklin County investigators did not elaborate as to where the suspect found the coin cash, but said late Sunday night or overnights, the suspect pictured in our story smashed through the front door of Sandoval’s Market in Basin City.
Once inside, they made off with an astounding $1,900 in rolled coins. Depending on the types of coins (quarters, dimes, nickels etc) that amount of coin could weigh as much as 100 lbs.
