KENNEWICK, Wash.–On December 21, 2023, 35-year-old Juan Diego Belloso was found lying on his driveway with multiple gunshot wounds.
Belloso was transported to the hospital, but died soon after, according to a Kennewick Police Department Facebook post.
During the initial investigation, it was found that no one else was at the residence at the time of the incident, according to the post. Despite multiple reports of hearing gunshots, there were no direct witnesses.
This is an open investigation, so some aspects of the case are being withheld, the post says. But, evidence found shows a suspect parked nearby before walking up to the victim and shooting him multiple times.
Detectives are still investigating the case, and are asking for community help to hold the suspect accountable, the post says. Anyone with information can contact Detective Nebeker at (509) 582-1342, or submit an anonymous tip online.
