One person has injuries following a two-vehicle accident in Adams County early Sunday morning.
The Washington State Patrol says it happened at around 12:55 a.m. on State Route 17 about four miles south of Warden, when a pickup truck driven by 45-year-old James A. Scaramozzino of Wenatchee crossed the center line and struck an oncoming construction truck driven by 46-year-old Timothy W. Rodriguez of Pasco head on.

Scaramozzino was injured in the collision and airlifted to Kadlec Medical Center in Richland for treatment, while a female passenger in his vehicle and Rodriguez both escaped the crash without injury.
Troopers say intoxicants did not play a role in the accident, but possible charges against Scaramozzino are being investigated.
The incident snarled traffic on the highway for a number of hours.
