With elections fresh in people’s minds and choices being made, I thought it’d be interesting to see which counties in Washington are the most divided. We got that list and breakdown for your below.

Beware Of Echo Chambers

Communities can take on many shapes, sizes, and ideals. There’s nothing wrong with that, until it becomes such the norm that your group can’t accept the very thought of any other idea.

If you think this is directed at you, it might be. But you’re not alone because this problem is everywhere, especially in a world with social media.

I’ve often found that by talking to my neighbors, we have way more in common than we have differences. Focusing on that common ground is how we can grow. But sometimes we have to tiptoe around those differences.

Family Troubles

Without going into specific family members or the way they lean on the political divide, let’s just say we’ve all come to agree that certain topics are not talked about in social gatherings. Many of us can usually find common ground, but there’s one particular family member who just gets their blood pressure raised too much and hates everyone.

That’s not right. If you’re picking a side over a family member (for that reason alone), I suggest unplugging (especially from social media) and giving and getting some hugs.

Okay, now that my family venting from this past weekend is over, back to my point. Community is key, and we really should focus on the common ground, especially in these Washington counties.
