Fires were not the only issue Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies were dealing with over the weekend.
A Former Convicted Murderer Now Sought in Stabbing Incident
US Marshals are looking for a man wanted for a stabbing in the Chattaroy area over the weekend.
Donald Smiley, say Officials, has a previous murder conviction and remains under supervision by the Department of Corrections. He was convicted in 2007, and served a lengthy prison term.
The Suspect is Considered Dangerous
Now, US Marshals say stabbed a victim at a location about 19 miles north of Spokane. No details about that were released, but Marshals say the 5’9″ 180-lb. man is considered dangerous.
He’s also facing charges prior to the assault, for violating terms of his parole.
Any sightings of him can be reported at U.S. Marshals Service at 1-877-926-8332 or submit tips at usmstips@usdoj.gov. A reward of up to $5,500 could be paid for tips leading directly to his location and apprehension.
