One of the best parts of my job is sharing all the adoptable animals from our friends at Pet Overpopulation Prevention weekly, but this week, we really have a special good boy up for adoption.
Pasco Rescue Dog Sunshine Is This Week’s Wet Nose Wednesday Feature
Sunshine, as his name implies, is a happy, yellow lab chiweenie (?) mix. He is described as “the best dog ever!”

He was adopted eight years ago, and his family hates to have to rehome him, but he needs to be rehomed.

Sunshine is great on a leash, great with other dogs, kids, and makes friends quickly with visitors.
He’ll woof and let you know when someone is at the door, but he’s their friend (if you are too!) in less than a minute.
He is a bit of a cat chaser when they run, but his intentions are not malicious. There were some kittens at his current home a few years back, and he was great with them.

Sunshine is smart and learns boundaries easily…. he’s allowed on some of the furniture in his current home, and not others.

This short and squatty boy would do fine with a shorter fence; those six-foot legs don’t exactly make him jump like a kangaroo!
So can you help out this sweet boy? He’d be great for you and you for him. If you’d like to meet him, click here for more details.
