Slow Down or Pay Up: $125 Work Zone Camera Tickets Begin July 1
I’ve been watching Friday’s With Frank, a YouTube sensation featuring a deputy pulling folks over, and I’m shocked at how many people don’t have licenses, registration, and insurance. So, don’t let that be you starting July 1st.

The Work Zone Speed Camera Program has been in effect since last April, when first-time offenders received a warning; now, the cost will increase to $125.
Eastern Washington is expected to have 50 cameras in use by 2027, and so far, the program has issued over 85,000 citations, with 77,000 being new infractions over on the west side of the state.
