Fewer Elderly Persons, but They Were Older
The data is compiled from King County Coroner data, following cases that were officially posted, often following autopsies.

Last week, 13 persons died from known overdose cases, and of those only 3 were under the age of 30. Four were over 61.
One Of the Victims Was 75
This week, the totals (June 12-19) the total was 10, no data reported for June 19 due to the Federal holiday. June 18th had no reported deaths. Of those, half were over the age of 49, 1 was 68 and another male victim who died from meth and fentanyl was 75.
While a few other drugs were mixed in, including cocaine, all ten involved fentanyl.
According to the CDC, Centers for Disease Control, WA state ranks among the worst states in drug deaths per capita.
