What Makes Aztec Burgers A Local Favorite In Town

Posted on by admin

So last week my buddy John and I went and had lunch at the new Cashmere location for Bubba J’s barbecue, and it was awesome. So, this week John said, hey, let’s do it again. Where do you want to go?

My answer was Aztec Burgers And more.

It was more than a year ago when he and I went to Aztec Burgers and more the first time and I had the Al Pastor burger. I don’t even remember what he had, I think it had pineapple on it and the thing I remember most was the unbelievable flavor. The only downside to the Al Pastor burger was that the bun just couldn’t hold up so I got about halfway through and then had to bust out a fork to finish it off.

This time around I decided to go simple, Specifically, the Simple Burger.

We arrived at the Aztec Burgers location that overlooks the George Seller Bridge just a little bit before 11:00am. (That’s when they open.)

The Simple Burger is just what it sounds like. Beef, lettuce, tomato, a tiny bit of Mayo on the bun and I have to say again, the flavor was outstanding. The burger patty was smashed on the grill and seared and had great caramelization. You really could taste it. I love ketchup, so yes, I did put some ketchup on the Bun, but not too much.

It’s a good value.

When you order your Aztec burger, you have the option of fries or onion rings and a drink. If you order water, then they knock a dollar off. So, my Simple Burger with onion rings cost $10. That’s a deal.

My buddy John got a Simple Burger as well, but he ordered fries. He and I both agreed it may be a Simple Burger, but the flavor was great, and good value. I think the next time I visit Aztec Burgers and more I may have to try the salmon burger.

There’s lots of other things on the menu that are not burgers. But the burgers are what brought us there and what we’ll probably bring us back again.
