In a posting from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, there are several roads that will have construction and chip sealing, and officials are warning motorcycle riders of loose gravel.


Loose Gravel and Reduced Speeds: Franklin County Issues Travel Warning
Here are the roads you should know about:
R-170 in Basin City, Sagehill Road up to Hollingsworth, N Wahluke from Sagehill Road to Filbert, Filbert Road to Mt. Vista Road, Mt. Vista from Hendricks Rd to Hollingsworth Road, Lind Rd from county line, Hoover Rd, and Klaus Rd are the major roads.

If you are traveling along these roads over the next few weeks, you’ll want to use caution due to loose gravel that could be on the roadways.

Franklin County Sheriff deputies are also reminding drivers to follow posted speed limit signs, traffic signs, and reduced speed limits.
