Tree trimming to close part of North Fifth Avenue in Walla Walla on April 8

WALLA WALLA, Wash. – A segment of North Fifth Avenue in Walla Walla will be closed for several hours on Mon., April 8 due to tree trimming, according to the City of Walla Walla.

North Fifth Avenue between West Sumach Street and West Rose Street is set to close at 7 a.m. and will be closed throughout the morning and into the afternoon until 4 p.m.

The City says detours will be in place and that residents are asked to use extreme caution when navigating the area.

Emergency vehicles and pedestrians will not be able to access the section of the street.
