Posted on by admin

COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. – Police in College Place arrested a woman on Tuesday, Nov. 21 for possessing illegal drugs and a firearm in her car, stemming from a shoplifting arrest weeks prior according to the College Place Police Department.

On Nov. 5, CPPD responded to a shoplifting report at a Walmart on 1700 SE Meadowbrook Blvd where officers found a woman who was allegedly heading back and forth between the store and her car with stolen items.

The woman was booked into the Walla Walla County Jail for burglary charges. Officers were given a warrant to search the car the next day for stolen items.

In the search, officers found a bag with a white substance believed to be meth and a firearm. They immediately stopped the search and contacted the Regional Drug and Gang Task Force.

Meth, heroin, fentanyl powder, LSD, Xanax, psilocybin mushrooms and methadone were each found along with packaging, a scale and a list of pricing and customer names.

After the search was completed, the woman was already released from jail. She was found at a bar on Tuesday, Nov. 21 and arrested with multiple charges including possession with intent to deliver controlled substances, controlled substance counterfeit, carrying firearms and possession of stolen property.
