ELTOPIA, Wash. — Franklin County Fire District 1 contained a 600-acre fire that burned on US 395 near milepost 41.
According to FCFD 1 Chief Eric Mauseth the fire started because of the dry conditions in the area.
Franklin County Fire District 4 and 5 also responded to the fire.
